What is the deal with scheduling?

In my fictional career league my team's schedule is a mess. I just changed teams, but it looks like the application is making a schedule for my new team as if it was in my OLD division (using the default League/Division format). I have very few games against my division opponents and many of them are on the road. No wonder things ended up so screwy in my last season with every team in my division having a winning record.

Is anyone else experiencing this to confirm? Is a patch for this being considered?

The schedule generator is woeful as I've just found out!!! Don't know about a patch but there are lots of schedule downloads out there which I'll be using in future.

Programming a schedule generator is not at all an easy task. There is an outside program called Stickware that does a good job, and there are some schedules in the Mods forum that can be imported into leagues.
