Help; game crasheing!

Hello? My game crashes, too. It happens after the finish when the box score is being generated. It just closes the game...CTD. I'm using ootp5 on WinXP. I re-installed my game...but maybe I needed to UNinstall it first. Would that've helped? Installation log.txt notes that I installed it again: "Overwriting..xxxx." I made a back-up file of the game...just in case. Any thing I can do about this?

To 1964Turning off the in-game sound fixed that problem for me.

Thanks.... I may try that next... I have a friend who said his ran without sound to... for awhile... now he's totally forgotten about the game! I don't want that to happen to me! I remember my old v2 ran (soundlessly) perfect ..on win98. Now...I'd like to get it over to this machine... Keeping my fingers crossed.
