You need to post a lot more details about what is going on with this league.

What kind of league are you trying to open.... What did you recently do with the league... have you had any crashes with your machine/league...

How much free disk space do you have... how much RAM do you have...

The more details you can provide the better we can help.

How do you mean get out of it?

When you open the game does the game load up? If so are unable to goto File->Open League and select a different league file, or is this where the error occurs?

Make sure that any league file you attempt to open has all the necessary .dat files and all the folders.

Ryan...

I should have told you this on AIM yesterday, but try deleting the historic league file from your OOTP Folder through My Computer/Programs/OOTP4.

That MAY work.

That should work. It'll open another league when you open the game after deleting your messed up league.

I deleted the historic league file and all I have the the real file I want to use... when the game loads up it's just a blank league, no standings no nothing. So when I goto Open League and select the file... thats where the problem is. So I don't know hopefully you guys do!

You need to run the game setup file again and install it in a different directory than it currently is in. Then move you league file into that directory and see if it works.

I had this happen to me as well. I just reinstalled into the same directory. You'll have to reinstall the game, then the lastest patch. This is how I fixed it.
