For Those of you who are having Run Time Errors

I've been getting run time errors while while the program, especially everytime I try to create a historial league.

I decided to turn off my anti-virus and tried creating a new historial league. This time there were no problems at all!! I suggest anyone who's having the same problem to try this.

FYI: I use Kaspersky as my anti-virus program

Well the answer is not that simple. My anti-virus is off, my HD is defragged, all maintenance stuff is done yet I continue to get run-time errors. I never get these on my laptop. Is there some difference in the setup between them?

I know about reformatting the HD. I need to buy a bigger external HD before I can do this.

How big is your drive. I just put in 120 gig and partitioned 50gig just for OOTP and CATOBASE. I would make sure that I have plenty of RAM and drive space and then I would unlicense the game and reinstall on the machine in its own partition if available.....

That is an excellent idea. Can it be done using an external HD?

Partitioning sounds like a great idea that may help with the runtime error problem. How do you go about partitioning your hard drive?

I recently reinstalled mine on my L:, which is a USB enclosure with a 200gig hard drive in it. I swap that drive out on occasion.

When I first boot windows, I have to right click on MY COMPUTER and select MANAGE, then select DISK MANAGEMENT. I then right click on the drive and reactivate it.

Windows knows it is a removeable hard drive, so it turns off the cache write, so you won't lose information if the power goes out or there is a crash. Using cache writes is faster, but you really will not notice the speed difference.
