Contract extension players end up as FA

Hello there, for whatever reason in a solo league of mine players who signed contract extensions (shows up on lg. transac page as well as team page) are becoming free agents at the end of the year. Is there a way to correct this either with a utility or suggestions on how to edit them back onto the right team without advancing a day into the start of free agency?

Thank you in advance to any possible help.

Yes. This is a problem in my online league as well. Signed to extensions, especially minor league extensions, and then become free agents anyway. It even shows up on their player card the date that they signed an extension, yet they are FA's.

Hmmmm.

Well specifically for the minor league extensions. They must be on the 40 man roster or the extension is not valid. For other FA I don't know.

Edit
This follows MLB rules on minor league FA.

Yes, this is correct. This also applies to any contract extention, whether MLC or not.

I'm having the same problem.

Mariano Rivera was signed to a 2 year extension, but now it's as if it didn't happen and he's asking for one again, even though it says in his history that he signed it.

The image is below. What's going to happen?

Hmm, did you restore your league to a date before he signed the extention?

I know it may sound silly, but that's all I can think up of for now.

I had that happen to me a couple times and it ended up being alright. That is, after either coming back to the screen later before a sim or after (I forget which), it was no longer asking for an offer. Don't take that as a guarantee that will happen for you, just that it might.
