a little help please

My computer has 1.5 mb left on it, windows 98, 64 mb of ram.

Heres the problem. Last night in the middle of the leauge simming my computer got shut off thru the power surge. The next day[today] i load the game up and everything loads fine, it is even on the day that the game was simming on but when i try to go to the schedule it gives me an error code.[Runtime Error! Program:C\OOTP\OOTP4\OOTP4.exe, Abnormal program termination] I then defraged thru DOS and it tells me that cluster 322,967 of drive C cannont be read. That area of the drive is damaged and should not be used to hold data. Scandisk can try to recvoer any existing data from that area by copying it to an undamaged location. Scandisk will then mark the damaged cluster to prevent it from being used again.

Then it says cluster 322,967 is currently being used by the \OOTP4\ghostr~1.lg\schedule.dat file.

I then clicked the fix it button and i still get the same error message.

I tried to load another leauge and it saved the current leauge and when it tried to load the other leauge it just sat there with the loading leauge icon and no leauge loaded. After waiting 10 minutes i restarted the computer. This was all done before running scan disk.

I think thats all the info you need. Hope that helps and i hope someone can help me. I am going to try and load another leauge, the leauge i did have[i was 10 seasons into it] seems pretty shot unless you all can come up with some way to save it.

i was wrong

well it seeemed like it would fix the problem but i was wrong.

I started another season and it went about 7 games into the season then a notice came on that i dont have enough ppl on my 25 man roster. So i click the ok button and it saves the leauge and then after it does that it goes to the standings and the same runtime error..

HELP ????

If you've only got 1.5 meg left on your hard drive you need to do some serious cleaning. Ideally keeping a couple hundred meg open is a good idea...

Not sure what you meant by this, if it was sincere or if it was sarcastic. If it was sarcastic 30 minutes isn't exactly a lot of time to wait for a response.

I'm not sure if resetting the season would have moved the bites of data from the bad space to good space.

If you can reopen the league run computer manager on all teams and go and check your roster to make sure its valid (all lineups, depth charts, pitching rotations etc.).

If this doesn't work, then the league may be toast.

Cool it aint like that

it was sincere.

I ran comp manager on all teams, then went to my teams and they were still under human manager. So i put them in comp manager.

and nothing. Still the same runtime error.
