Problem with demo

I downloaded and installed the demo version of OOTP4, but when I click on the link to the game, it tells me:
A required .DLL file, MSIMG32.DLL, was not found.

1. What does this mean?
2. How can I fix it?
and....
3. What the hell is a .DLL file, anyways?!?!

Do a search for the file online and install it in your windows/system dir.

It's just a file that Windows uses. It is included with newer versions of Windows, but wasn't included with Windows 95, among the Microsoft offerings.
