System Lock Up

Bought OOTP4 a few weeks ago and absolutely love it, but after I end the game and put the computer to sleep, it locks up--when I wake the computer up, there's a msgsrv32 message saying that it has performed an illegal operation and will shut down. I can't move my cursor, so I have to physically restart the computer. Any ideas? I'm running OOTP4 on Windows 95 (I know, I know) with 96mb of RAM and about 1.5Gb of free hard-drive space. I don't have anything else open on the desktop when I play OOTP4. My screensaver is turned off. Ideas?

Close OOTP "before" you put your PC to sleep, not aall programs work well with that feature. That is the only fix that I know of.

I do close it out before I put the computer to sleep.
