FAs signing minor league deals by mistake

During the FA draft, we are having trouble with players signing minor league deals when they agreed to a major league deal.

For example, Tom Glavine agreed to a 4 year $9m/year contract. When he was placed on his team, he was assigned a minor league contract. So far, at least 4 players in the TLB have this problem, and 1 in the ACL.

it was my player in the ACL. I signed Armando Benitez for 3.5 over 4 years, but during the beginning season I noticed he was playing with a 100,000 1 year contract.

btw, it still had the correct info (that he signed a 3.5M dollar, 4-year contract) displayed under his "history" and in the transaction page.

I'm a bit confused, where was the "minor league" deal displayed in all this?

His actual contract was a minor league deal.

So, during the FA draft, he was signed to a $3.5m/year for 4 year deal. But, when signed, OOTP dumped him into the minors and it gave him a MINOR LEAGUE CONTRACT. When the owner calls him up, he gets an automatic $100k contract for 1 year. The $3.5m/year for 4 year contract was never assigned.

The same thing happened to 3 players in the TLB. Example...

As Joe mentioned above it was his actual contract, so he was listed as a free agent next season even though I just signed him for 4 years. here's a screen of it too here

Just stumbled upon this thread. This same thing has happened a few times in my online league. I can't say what caused it, b/c it was never caught until sometime afterwards.
