what program is needed to view/edit .dat files?

3 players have messed up strikeout stats that need to be edited so the career leaderboard is accurate.

i tried using MS access but it didnt work. also tried using wordpad and just got a bunch of gibberish.

I'd search google, but to be honest you probably wont' get much word on that, with the whole reerse enginneering and all coming up with such Q's

I'm the one he's helping, dankbud is in my league. I have a hexeditor, WinHex but I have no idea how to use it. Here's the specific problem.

Look at his 1991 K total.

Also has 2005 K's in 1993.

A guy with 4 innings has over 2000 K's.

This isn't a huge problem for our league, it's just something I'd like to get fixed. If anyone has a solution please tell me.

I thought their was already a mod out their that let you edit stats......
