Just started playing for 1st time--got a problem

I have been big into the basketball sims, and a little bit into football sims; but I hadn't ever considered trying a baseball sim. Then the free OOTP came onto my radar screen. I gave it a try, and in my first season was leading my Detriot Tigers towards the postseason

A little past the halfway mark, I was playing a game when at the conclusion of it--which I came from behind to win--an error box appeared and said OOTP had to close. The final box score still appeared. Now when I try to continue this league OOTP says "Invalid Player File". I have no idea what that means or how to fix the problem.

Try turning in game sound OFF, unless you made a backup copy of the league file it is likely unless. ALWAYS good to backup regularly.
