OOTP 6/6.12 Startup Problem...

Never had this problem before... I can't open the game by clicking on the shortcut, or going into the directory and clicking on the file itself. It just doesn't do anything when I double click... or when I right click and select "Open".

I've tried rebooting my computer, I've tried re-installing, and even re-installing in a different directory.

Anyone else have this problem and know of a solution?

In XP: Control Panel>Admin Tools>Services. Make sure LicCtrl is enabled.

Hrm... I don't appear to have the .exe required for LicCtrl... how the heck is that even possible?

Apparently I have the runservice.exe necessary, but am missing other "necessary files" so I can't get LicCtrl running... anyone have any ideas on how to get those files back?

Without knowing for sure I'd say you may need to do a repair/reinstall of windows but I'd contact http://www.elicense.com as they may know more.
