How can I correct an extension signing mistake?

Instead of signing a guy for 3 years at $4.1m I got finger-punch happy and signed him for $41m when I added one too many 0's. Any quick way of fixing that problem? The commissioner edit feature only allowed me to edit the current contract, or so it seems to me.

Can anyone help with suggestions on how best to correct the situation before the team gets nailed with the $41m salary come season flip? Thanks in advance.

You have to wait until the following season. But if you edit in the preseason, it shouldn't make a lick of difference on cap/finances. You can try exporting to CSV and seeing if there is any column for extension, but as far as I know, there is no way.
