I just purchaced 6.5 and I tried to update it and it said I need a valid licence for 2006. I have one and it should have worked. How do I download 6.5 to my OOTP 6 game?

Ok...I downloaded the game and the patch and now it crashes on me. is there a patch that fixes this? I can see everything, and then it crashes when I try to play a game.

You purchased version 6.5? You also need to own 6.0, and have it licensed and installed.

You also shouldn't need a patch if you just downloaded the file from this website. The full game download includes the latest updates.

I have both versions on my laptop. wHEN i TRY TO PLAY THE GAME AN ERROR REPORT POPS UP AND CLOSES THE GAME. It has done this to me countless times. What I downloaded was 6.5 expantion pack and 6.5 loaded up. I can see everything, but when I try to play a game, it crashes. Is the 6.51 expantion pack the same as the 6.5 expantion pack?

Yes, they're the same.

Try this:

1. Uninstall both OOTP 6 and OOTP 6.5 via your Windows control panel.

2. Make sure the entire directory was deleted upon uninstalling. If it wasn't, do it manually.

3. Re-install OOTP 6 and license it.

4. Re-install OOTP 6.5 and license it.

Do not install anything other than the above two packages. No further patching is needed.

3. How do I download Pics?
4. How do I download something to a website for an online league?
5. After I play about 5 games, the system crashes. How do I stop this?
6. I was in 2009 (ootp 6.5) and I recieved a National league schedule. I am the A's and I am in the AL and the division was not changed. I tried to reset the schedule and it look liked it was searching for a file. The schedule was blank and there was no games on any days. What happeded?

Please give step by step instructions when possible.

1. In 6.5, open the player page and click the ratings button. Then click the editor button. You cannot edit in manager mode.
2. Open the player page and click the Editor button. Change the injury as you see fit. You cannot edit in manager mode.
3. Go to http://www.allsimbaseball.com/index....d=17&Itemid=35 and find a face pack.
4. You mean "upload"? You need to have a site that supports FTP. Use an FTP program like FileZilla to upload whatever you want to your site. More info here: http://www.allsimbaseball.com/index....d=17&Itemid=33
5. More than likely, you've skipped a step in the installation process of 6.5. First, uninstall 6.5. Then delete the folder "...Program Files\Out of the Park Developments" from your hard drive. Then, download OOTP 6.12 and install it and pay for it. Then restart your computer. Then download the 6.5 expansion pack and install it. Restart your computer. You should be good to go as long as you don't have an antivirus program interfering with the game.
6. More than likely this should clear up with a proper install of the game. If not, go to League Setup and Edit Schedule. There you can generate a new one or import one. To import a schedule, you'll need to get it here first: http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...splay.php?f=64

You have to NOT select "Manager" mode when you are first creating the league. After creating the league in Manager mode, you can't switch back to commissioner mode in 6.5. It's best to always start the league in commish mode and just take control of a team. This way you can always control anything you have to control.

I am taking over a league (6.5) and He zipped me his league file. I can not unzipp it or something is wrong.

1. How do I open his file up?
2. Do I do it as an historical league?
3. When I open the file, no information is in there. How do I restore this league?

Who is "He"? You might want to check with the guy you got it from. The usual way is to right click and extract the contents to your Program Files/Out of the Park Developments/OOTP 6.5 folder. Then just fire up the game and click File, open.
