Arm and baserunning ratings
Can anyone on the development team give me a general idea on how Arm and baserunning ratings are calculated during a Lahman import?
For instance, since Lahman does not include catcher's SBA and CSA, I imagine their Arm might be calculated off of Assist numbers. Can anyone help me out here? Thanks, Bryan |

Which brings up the question of why Lahman became the default database, rather than one with a more solid grounding.

arm and baserunning are randomly assigned no matter what DB you use. that data isnt in any DB that i know of and OOTP isnt setup to import it even if it was.

They aren't random in the Strat-O-Matic database, though that's a bad example because it's proprietary.
