Coaches & Scouts #2
Help...
 My league (online league) is about 1 month into the season when we ALL decided we didn't want coaches and scouts because of the variability in the ratings they report no matter whether they are all average or not... So I release ALL coaches and scouts from ALL teams and then disabled coaches and scouts in the league setup screen... (I released them all because they would continue to be a financial drain on the team unless released)... However now with the coaches/scouting system disabled I can't see any ratings for any FA's... Did I do something I shouldn't have??? And if I needed coaches/scouts to be on the team even though the coaches/scouts system is disabled why are they still a hit in the pocket book?Thanks,

I've not tried this but I have a feeling that the only way to correct it is to get the scouts/coaches back.

You should have just kept the coaches and scouts on the teams.. then just disabled them. I'm pretty sure that you don't have to pay their salaries.

I did some testing before releasing them and found that once the season has started (with coaches/scouts enabled) that even when you disable them you continue to pay their salaries for the duration of their contracts... After that everything continues the way it should... My solution was to resign scouts only and refund the teams in cash the amount of the total contract for each coach... After the contracts run out then it will continue properly... The only question left is what the repercusions of not resigning coaches will be... (Hopefully none...)
