Using cubbyfan rosters

WARNING RANT FOLLOW TO SECOND PARAGRAPH FOR QUESTION. I'm having nothing but problems with this game and am getting no help from anyone around here. While I understand that most of you are probobly moving on to 2007 but if 2006 has the same difficulties and no help from anyone then this is pointless. I've posted about having the "trading deadline has passed" and nobody even responds. I've started another game got fired in about a year and a half. Simulated another year and a half and there were no job offers of any kind even though managers were getting fired left and right. Kind of pointless to keep simulating and wasting time not managing a team.

I'm trying to start a new league with cubbyfans new rosters. How do I start a new league just like when I used lehman's database where there were only one set of minor leagues for every level. I don't want to have to pay attention to 10 different minor leagues. I would like to just have majors, triple a, double a, single a, short season a, rookie ball . ONE of each. Don't care if the minor leagues are accurate rosters. Also when I play in commisioners mode do I have to fire my major league manager when I become GM to control game to game options or can I leave him there and he will not make any changes when I sim. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks...Art

The first thing I'd tell you is to wait on the roster that APujols is hoping to release very soon, see Real World Rosters:: Read Inside.....

If you've been trying to use the Cubby07 beta, I'd forget it. I've been messing with it for a couple of days now and find it to be a mess. No defensive ratings and lots of duplicate players. It's really not worth your time.

As for setting the minor league's the way you want them, you can now simply delete any league you don't want and the players will become free agents. Go to the League Tools tab at the bottom and you'll find a couple of different avenues for deleting unwanted leagues.
