stolen base tracking problem?

I noticed when looking at players stats it shows sb's vs. lhp and rhp. But they don't usually add up to the total, the total is usually higher. Any idea why? An example would be someone would have 35 sb's on the year, but it would say 21 sb's vs. rhp and 8 sb's vs. lhp which only adds up to 29, not 35.

Any help is appreciated.

I guess I didn't question it the way I should have. Does that mean that the total sb count is correct or adding the two together is correct?

I think that the correct total is on the "overall" page.
