I accidentally deleted a league that was the last one running in OOTP (I thought I had opened another, but I guess not). I've tried to remember the name of that league but just can't come up with it...

Since I can't now get OOTP to work, should I just re-install it all together or is there another way around the problem?

Reinstalling is the easiest.

You should find the exact name of the league file in setup.dat in the main OOTP/STB directory.

Then you can create a folder with that name and copy some .dat files over and get the game to start without a reinstall.

And ah, what program do I use to open the .dat file for OOTP?

Any word processing program, BUT make sure and "uncheck" the open all files of this type with this program box at the bottom of the window.
