running OOTP5 on an intel based mac using "Parallels"
I hope you can help me with this... it has always been my dream to play OOTP on my mac (i just dled the demo of ootp7 for mac), and I just got this emulator (Parallels) for my intel based mac. Naturally, the first thing I tried to do was install OOTP5 (my online league, the CBL [commish Eric Wedge], uses OOTP5). However, when i try to open ootp, i get 2 error messages. The first: "CreateSurface: Backbuffer: NODIRECTDRAWHW"
The second, which shows up after i hit "OK" after the first error: "InitApp: Error InitDirectDraw" Any advice on how to get this to work? thanks so much for your hel oren |
