problem with rosters?

i wanted to find updated rosters set so i download lahman45 and MID2002 but then when i start my season its not the updated rooster whats wrong? Like for the braves the still ahd the roster from spring training

The "lahman 4.5" is a database of historical leagues, teams and players and must be "imported" via "historical league" feature.

This will help with roster installation.

Also, take a look at the game manual as it will help with some of these issues. Found either on the CD(STB) or in the OOTP4 folder.

ok but i have tried several others and they didnt work either. do you know what is the best roster set to use? and did rolen ever come out with a updated version
