Problem with players unretiring in 6.5

Hello. In an online league I am in we have a problem with free agency currently. We have had 2 players not show up on our FA list. Both of the players had just returned from retirement. I was just wondering if you knew how to find the players and offer them AND if you've ever ran across this problem before

Also, one team is claiming that they showed up in 6.5 for them and no one else in the league is seeing them on the FA list. As of now no one is sure if said team is lying or not. But, I did notice that they showed up on the FA list in OOTP6. They were also unretired by the game, not by a utility.

there is an option in the game setup that the commish needs to turn off

its says

"Allow retired players to return" make sure its on no

You might want to ask your commissioner to chime in here. It could be related to the files (.dats) that he's including or excluding in the zipfile he distributes to league members. Really best if the guy running the league posts for help. The process of finding the cause will be much faster without the extra step in communication.

Hey, I'm the commish of the league he's talking about.

Basically, what happened is only one person in the entire league was able to bid on those 2 guys, even myself with the full league file did not have those guys in my game.

We did find a way to see them, and that was to load the league file in OOTP 6.0, and then export the offers from there.

The team claimed that he did nothing special in order to export bids for those players, and did show a screen shot of them being listed in his version of OOTP 6.5

So I'm guessing here, but is this a converted league from 6.12 to 6.51a?

Also, are you and the entire league on the 6.51a patch? If so, I can only say to keep your fingers crossed that this doesn't happen again. We've seen the last patch for this version and I'm afraid if any new bugs appear, we just have to live with it.
