Please Help

I am running OOTP 4 with the last patch. I have Windows ME and am in the middle of simming the post seaosn for my online league.
When I go to zip up my league file it gets to ttrans9 and then locks up and gives me a pop up that says "nothing to do"
I tried using my last zip and going from there but it does the same thing
any help would be great

Have you looked at the "team 9 transaction" text file to see if there is a problem with it? It should be in the "news" folder.

The file looks fine. I just looked at it and it opens fine and looks fine

Try looking at team 10, if it looks ok try it again, if it still locks up remove team 10 from the folder and try again.

I removed 10 and it still locls up on 9. I also tried it without 9 and it didn't help. I'm geting close to a panic as this is the playoffs.

Have you tried rebooting during all this? I know that I ran ME for about 6 months and could hardly go an hour w/o rebooting because of ME memory issues....

yeah I have rebooted and I extracted my last zip back into hte directory...didn't help

Have you tried zipping any other files besides the league? Wondering if it may not be the game files.......no idea otherwise.

Steve, thanks for trying to help on this. I talked to gateway and we could not figure out why I can't zip anymore using windows. I installed winzip and am using that now, bummer

Can you zip anything up at all? The error you describe may be an OS issue, maybe even a bad sector on the hard drive disk where that trans files is saved. Some strange errors anyway, let us know what else is happening or any other system issues.
