Extremely odd date error

I use 6.12, and act as a backup location for the commish's league (basically, he sends me a zipped file of the league after each simulation). He uses 6.5, but we've done this for nearly 8 years of the league's time.

Recently, my old computer's HD crashed. I managed to recover the majority of the files by placing them on my external drive, and got OOTP 6.12 running again. However, whenever I receive a zip of the sim file, no matter what the actual date is, when I access it, it ALWAYS says 2/15/2028. The league is currently at 5/1/2029, and when he zips the league to send it to me, that's the date he gets when he unzips the exact same file. I'm thoroughly stumped over why this is happening.

The only change I can think of compared to when OOTP ran on my old HD was that the path was C:/, whereas it's now on F:/. Is there something I'm just missing in the settings that'll fix this problem, or do I need to put everything onto C:/ on this computer?
