download problem

can anyone tell me why i cant download a team i keep getting an error message when exporting a team ( parameter is incorrect) i've been trying to contact support for a week but no one responds

What email address have you been sending it to? I am on the board daily and have gotten no messages of this type.

To get to your problem, I am gonna need more detail...exactly what are you trying to do? I need more details...

hi, steve the e-mail i,ve been sending is under the support tab on ootp home page . well i bought the game a few weeks ago and off course played a few seasons by myself and got stuck on 7/29/03 when the trade deadline popped up and support suggested that i reload and that helped . then I was ready to join a league and downloaded the league to my cpu. was told to go to my team then to team setup and was told to export team to ftp and it gives me an error ( parameter is incorrect ) and was told not to edit the online league options so thats where im at now . I've disabled all firewalls and running windows xp home edition. I know its something simple but some old dogs are harder to teach new tricks . I welcome your help russ a.k.a. reobfd

Are you sure that you have the most updated version of the league file? Also, what type of internet connection do you have?

now no because its been over a week and my internet connection is cable 512 speed

Download the latest file and make sure that your "internet options" info matches with the commish of the league. Then try again. Keep me posted.

The info that you need should already show up in the league file, if not that is your problem and you need to contact the commish of the league to get the info.

i've downloaded the current league file to my cpu. I still get the same error msg. when trying to export to ftp . I've e-mailed commish of the post war baseball league and waiting his reply
