I just discovered OOTP, I really love the game and purchased a license. I downloaded and installed the game (apparently) without a problem. I created a new league, played and simmed some games, no problems. However, after closing the game and trying to start it later, I got a message about a memory address not being able to be "read". Thinking it may not have installed correctly, I re-installed the program and again, it seemed to run fine. This has consistently happened now over several tries - after running the game one time, it is necessary to re-install before running it again.
I think this may be a problem with my computer, but I wanted to check here first. I have browsed the forums and have not found any other posts about a problem similar to mine. I am running a Celeron 333 w/ 128MB RAM and a 4GB hard drive with 880 MB free. Could my lack of available HD space be contributing? Any help or suggestions would be welcome. |

. Troubleshootiong: 1. Run Scan Disk, should be very quick to do on a 4 GB hard drive. 2. If no errors then try to free up more than a gig of free space if you can. OOTP requires a lot of free space, especially if you create many leagues during a session. Good luck, hope your PC is okay! |
