4.2a patch Spring Training imports crashing (online leagues)

The BBDL commish has reported that the Spring Training exports from the owners who have the 4.2a patch installed are crashing his game. The commish also has the 4.2a patch installed.

Any other online leaguers experience this?

Wasn't this brought up before... and it had something to do with CREATED ammy players? Looking for the thread now

I can confirm that created players cause OOTP to crash when importing ST exports.

Situation:

-CUBL Expanded to have 4 more teams
-Expansion teams drafted from the original teams.. then I auto- filled their A Ball teams
-Original teams ST exports work fine [no created players]
-Expansion teams exports crash OOTP [created players]

Seems the game does not allocate ANY Spring training points to begin with on created players. If you need a file to look at go HERE

Expansion teams: Kitchener, Michigan, Grand Rapids, and London. those are the teams so far that crash when importing.

EDIT: I always said to myself that I wouldn't create players because this would happen.. but forgot that filling minors actually creats players.. doh!!

Great guys, that explains it. Each season we create "fake" players on each team called (for example) NYY Ammy #1, NYY Ammy #2 etc, to be used when trading draft picks. From what you're saying this is the cause of the ST crash. Thanks again !
