Game Won't Start

Hello all, I am trying to play ootp 8, just downloaded it and installed it but everytime I try to start the game nothing happens. I am using a windows vista machine. Could this be an issue?

I got it fixed. What I did was in vista right click>properties> and selected run in admin mode.
