League password

I accidentaly hit internet league mode and asked for a password but I never set a pw. Can someone help me get it back and/or get my password, is there a generic one.

If you didn't input a password, like it sounds like you're saying if you just accidentally enabled the online league mode, then you can just go in and change the password and it won't ask you for the old password. It only asks for the password if it wasn't blank in the first place.

When I do that it says to put in the old password first

Then you must have inputted a password because I've tested it in the past and it doesn't require one unless you've inputted one. Try some passwords you've used before or maybe some keys that you might have accidentally pressed.

You could upload the file and ask someone to get it for you, but I would hope they would try to verify that it's not an online league before they do.

I did not put anything in, I guess its possible my finger hit something but nothing that I pressed purposely. WHere should I ftp it to have someone look at it.

I put it in the save games folder, if someone could look at it i'd appreciate it. It is under jjguards.zip

You could upload it to rapidshare or one of its alternatives like megaupload. All that are needed are the .dat files so don't bother with the rest.

Im a little confused i FTP'd it to the games save folder. Sorry I know how to ftp it up and put it there.

The saved games folder where? You have to give a URL or something.

I checked several folders on that site, but can't find your zip.

BTW, OOTP is no longer under SI so I'm not sure how SI would feel about its FTP being used for OOTP. I imagine they wouldn't mind too much for this, but you might want to find a different site to upload OOTP stuff in the future.

i have a similar problem. i just took over an online league. i asked the old commish for the pw, and he doesn't know what it is. he said he never set one up, or if he did it was on accident. when i try to change the pw, it asks for the old pw.
