OOTP8 Does not initialise ...

I have purchased a download of OOTP 8 but after setup cannot get the game to work at all.
I have tried to set 'Run As' as 'Administrator' but no luck.
I have tried to uninstall several times and re-install, but still no luck.

Message comes up: 'application failed to intialise properly (0xc0000005).

I also cannot see any patches for OOTP8 either just in case my system cannot handle it.

I have dual core system with two SATA hard drives and 4GB of memory. I have a high end Nvidia graphics card.

Any ideas folks???

ps never had this problem before today, had system for over two years.

okay guys, no problems!
