Historical Stats

I went to the web site you guys offered, my problem is after
I down load the stats, I put the stuff in a new folder rename it
temp and put it outside of the ootp4 baseball file under program files,

After I did that, how do I use it, I always says, can not find file,

please help

Except download and use this file instead of the Lahman database file listed in Step 2 of the tutorial. The one below is a revised database by ScotVib that corrects some minor errors.

If you have any more specific questions once you have gone through the tutorial post them and someone will be glad to help.

It says after I did that,

Could not create Folder!

I don't understand this at all please help again.

Did you UNZIP the database in that folder? Also the leagues you create need to have a unique name.

After the download was complete, I extracted the folder into a new one that is not compressed. I believe this was the right way of doing it, how do I go about to UNZIP a file, I don't know if I have WINZIP,

MY ootp is under program files
C:\program files\ootp4

stats is under

C:\program files\stats,

I put it not in the ootp4 but outside of it.

sorry I don't understand can you walk me through it?

You need to make sure that the name of the league you are trying to create is different then the first one you tried.

The game takes the name of the league you typed in and tries to create a folder like: leaguename.lg

If that folder already exists the game will give you that Cannot create folder error.

So either try using a different name for your league... or look and delete the folder that has the name you are trying to use and you might solve the problem.

If this doesn't work let us know.

sometimes when extracting the Lahmans databases it will create a folder within the folder to put the actual files. Check to see if the files are where you are telling the game they are or if it included an additional layer of folders.

I don't know if this problem would give the error message you are getting but if Scott's suggestions don't work try this.

The first one worked out great, I had a league Named New League and it didn't change it.
