Player injured, then subbed in for his sub?

My 3B, Saffold, was injured in his 1st AB (HBP). I subbed in Kollman for him. And simmed out to the 8th inning where I noticed Saffold was inserted into the game at a different batting slot.

I know you cannot re-enter a game in a different batting slot, but
can you re-enter the game once you have been taken out?

Strangely enough, Saffold's net AB produced another HBP. :-)

no, you sure can't. as for saffold, he should probably get some barry bonds armor plating (TM).

I've had that same thing happen to me once, too. I didn't really pay much attention to it though.

Happened (at least) once in my online league. It was my player, in a sim-through game. His injury didn't last - may have been only for that game - so that could have been what caused it.
