Game Crash
I searched around and couldn't find a similar topic....
In our online league, we have just finished the amateur draft and are about to head into spring training. I go to the League News section and select League Transactions and then the game crashes. Simple as that, boom, crash. More than one owner in our league has this issue. In other leagues that I can load up which are in the middle of a season or right before the season begins, there is no error with league transactions. By the way, this is what my error says: Quote:

I've had the same problem when a text file is missing. I believe it was with version 3, but perhaps this is the problem. Make sure there is a file named "ltrans" in the news folder.

Yes, one of the other owners in our league identified that there was something strange in the ltrans file in the news directory.
There was an extraneous "~" sign, plus 6 or 7 extra blank lines before the actual transactions were listed. Removal of those lines and the ~ allowed the game to run fine now. We have no idea how that ~ got in there, but it appears that the problem is solved. Thanks. |
