Importing Historical Players into the draft

I found the import historical player in the FA screen, but using it doesnt allow me to import the player into the Draft Pool he goes into the FA pool.

Is there away to get around this. I have been looking on the boards and have not came across a way to fix this.

Any help would be appreciated.

I am using OOTP8 and have the 8.0.0.13 patch.
