several contraction/realignment problems
I have a vague memory of there being a realignment tutorial, but I couldn't find it.
I contracted two teams and realigned 3 divisions to adjust. It seemed really easy, but problems developed. The web reports are all screwy. The default schedule still shows 15 games, still including the old teams. I can generate a new schedule with the schedule editor - and it no longer includes the old teams - but the schedule it puts out is lame (days off on Saturdays, etc.). I suspect that this has to do with the team numbering. I did the contraction at the very beginning of a new season. I suspect that it would have been better to do it at the end of the season. I REALLY don't want to do it all over, b/c there was a contraction draft, and I don't want to do all the work over. Can I do a mock contraction using the last season's file and then copy over a dat file or two to make this right? Is there some other solution? Is there any hope for this poor commish? |

Yeah, and got 10,000 discussions on MLB contraction. The few I found on OOTP contraction weren't comprehensive. I was hoping I could find someone who had successfully done it.
