Prob/with contract extensions for 300 or so

I have some players in my online league that are supossed to be Free agents this coming season but show a contract extension of like 435 dollars for 0 years. Now thinking our first season that they would still be able to resign was the wrong idea. They dont show up on the roster as a possible Free agent so the team cant offer an extension, is there a way around this, I tried changing the contract to minor league but it still shows up as that extension. Is there some way to delete that.

There is no way to edit extensions, only the current contract.

so what happens at this season or the end of it since those players say their contract ends this season but yet for the extension it shows money for 0 years thus not allowing them to be negotiated with.

I believe they will be given a contract = the extension listed. At that point, you'll be able to edit the contract so that it's up at the end of that year. In this case, these owners would get the player for an extra year for "free". If it were me, I would give them an identical dollar amount contract for one year at that time so that they'll enter FA at the end of the year.
