Help needed!!

I need help ... my OOTP 4 won't run anymore!

The problems all started when I downloaded a league file from an online league .... I installed it, then went to open it in OOTP and when I opened it, no teams popped up or anything... It displayed a distorted standings page with nothign really on it ... So I assumed there was something wrong with the league file.

So I went and deleted that league folder and file from my harddrive...

Now when I try to start the game, it attempts to boot up that league, since it was the one I last left the game on ... And obviously since I deleted it, it doesn't show up anymore... Now just a completely blank screen shows up... so I go and try to load one of my other leagues and I get the error message:

"Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library"

Runtime Error

Program: C:\Program Files\OOTP4\OOTP4.exe

Abnormal Program termination

------------------------------------------------------

So yes, that's the message I get, and I really don't know what else to do ... Everytime I try to do anything significant in the game now I get that message... please help!

Nevermind ... I've fixed my problem.

my brother is having the same problem, what did you do to solve the problem?

If the .lg is still in your recycle bin, restore it, open OOTP, switch to another league, then delete the .lg again.

If it's not still on your system, try renaming one of your league files to the name of the deleted one. OOTP should open this league. Then you can switch leagues and change the name back.
