Online League: Owner can not d/l league file
I have one owner in the USBA that cannot download the league file. It apparently is either getting hung or just never completes the download. I have done as much as I can and the rest of the league has not been able to help either. The USBA is on the OOTP server. This owner is in two other online leagues (not on the OOTP server) and has no problem downloading league files from them.
He uses Internet Explorer with a high-speed cable modem. He's tried deleting all of the previous USBA folders and has tried to download several times with no success. No other owner in the league has had any issues with the league file. Can you think of anything we could be missing on, something we can try? It has to be completely frustrating for him. I am out of ideas!

Partial download problems:
- He could clear his browser cache and delete any partial files he has DLed, then try it again. - If he is an AOL user ask him to use IE instead of the AOL browser to download. There is a known DL bug in the AOL browser that matches the incomplete file symptom. Zip file not updating download problems: - It might be a local ISP cache issue and that can sometimes be helped by naming your league file unique names each sim (like "USBA_sim7.zip"). When the ISP cache is set a certain way (the way that drastically reduces their bandwidth ) then it will store some often DLed files locally in it's cache and if these files are called by any of it's users then it will save bandwidth by sending them the locally stored file. The ISP cache is typically updated every 12-24 hours depending on the ISP bandwidth concerns. When requested file names are identical to a file in the ISP's cache it is fooled into thinking the user wants that same "USBA.zip" file that was called a day ago instead of the newly updated "USBA.zip" fil from an hour ago. Giving each sim file a unique name usually corrects thee problems or the user can wait 12-24 hours and try DLing the file again (the ISP's cache would usually have "refreshed" it's locally stored files in about that time). Good luck - I am in 2 leagues where this is a common issue, and this routinely happens to me in one of those leagues .
