Problem Creating Players

I'm trying to create some players in the free agents menu...I create 50 established Catchers, eligible for next draft.
It creates them. Problem is, only about 10% of them have any ability as catcher, or a fielding rating as catcher (most have no fielding ratings).
Am I doing something wrong?

Are you using version 9.2.13?

I was using 9.2.2, so I changed to 9.2.13--now none of them have any ability as catcher.

Huh. Could you try creating a new league as a test to see if it happens there as well?

Tried it, same problem.

Strange thing is, most of the players have good tools for IF or OF, but no position ratings in ANY fielding position. Almost like the game created 50 random batters, wiped out their position (and position fielding rartings) and just called them all catchers.

I've had similar issues with creating players and the position ratings making NO sense whatsoever.

Did you try running an OSA rescout??

I can't replicate this. Every time I do this the players have a range of ratings with the majority having good-very good ratings for Catcher arm and ability.
