OOTP 2006 Corrupt Save Game Question

I've been a long time follower of these forums, but never have I been a member.

I have run into a problem, and although it looks to be unfixable, I'd like to post my situation just in case someone has some suggestions.

YES, I did have my computer crash while saving my recent game (was only in season 2, 2009, custom league).

I have checked my .dat files in my saved games folder, but none of them are 0 kb in size. I saw when reading through a number of similar db corrupt threads in here that if any of those files (eg world.dat) is 0 kb in size, I'm pretty much out of luck.

Is there any chance of recovering this league at all?
