Draft Bug/Problem???

Online league. Draft set for 75 days early. Directory is correct (used a test league). Set to import historical rookies.

Yet, it imported fictional players. Please help.

File should be up. I just included the .dat files. Let me know if you need more or if there are any problems. I deleted all the fake players in the draft pool (I backed it up before doing so) and I changed the draft pool date to 15 days (hoping it would import the players correctly).

I backed it up before doing so. Please advise.

I did a "fake" sim and nothing else imported. Should I import this class individually?

William, do you happen to have a copy of this league file from before the draft pool was generated, like during the most recent offseason?

In the copy of the league you gave me, the draft pool is set to be revealed 15 days before the draft on June 15th.

When I simmed ahead to June 1st, the historical players imported as expected.

Were you getting ALL fictional players, or a mix of real and fictional players?

It definitely creates fictional players if it cannot find the historical database, and I worry a bit about your path, even though you said you tested it. I think there is a "data" folder missing in that path somewhere.

I'm going to try to sim around to another season, with the draft pool release set 75 days in advance, and with the path set correctly.

Do you have any brilliant ideas about how to tell if there are any fictional players? I'm not much of a historical simmer, so I can't tell very easily. Do you know how many players are supposed to be in this draft, for example?

No, I don't know to be honest. I know Ty Cobb was 1903, but that doesn't help us. I'm checking it now. I'm going to look through and see if I notice one name
