Cannot Download File

Ok. I have searched and none of the answers are helping me.

I cannot in-game download my online league file. Here is what I have tried to fix the problem.

I have downloaded a brandnew file of the league and tried to go from there. I get Error Cannot Download file.

I have uninstalled the game and reinstalled the game. Still get Error: Cannot download file.

I have tried the orginal file and gone from there. Still get Error: Cannot download file.

I have unistalled the game. Deleted the game. Deleted the league. Downloaded the game from the site, redownloaded the league. I tried to upload online league file, I get Error: Cannot Download File.

I have uninstalled my virus protection and turned off the firewall.

I am on 9.2.13. My league is on 9.2.13.

I am at a lost.

I think the league is the problem.

Nope. PC. It is Vista, I tried running it as an administrator. I forgot to say that.

That's very peculiar. Does it ever get to the stage of trying to inflate the download?

When does that stage come?

When the download reaches 100% it will then inflate the file in order to put the files in the right places.

I run into this frequently on my Linux installation, but never on my Windows Installation. Today when trying to use my slow wireless card, I got the same message as you. I then plugged in my ethernet cable and the download finished fine, albeit slow.

I surmise from that that the wireless was having timeout issues of some sort.

How is your connection speed?

It isn't cable modem speed, but it is not as slow as dial-up.

Jax I am having the exact same problem except mine hangs up at the 88% mark.
I am in multiple leagues and it only happens in one of my leagues.

Same thing for me, all steps done as per jax's original post. Both leagues that I'm in are having the issue. Also on Vista as admin

I wonder if there was a recent update to Vista that is causing the problem. I am having trouble downloading stuff in another program as well.

Just OOTP so far myself. Considering the age of this issue submission no-one's stopped by to say "yes it's an issue" or "no we should submit this" as it pretty much kills online league play (well ok...maybe severly cripples.)

I am having the exact same problem. However I'm having the problem with all my leagues and I am not running Vista. I have been unable to download a file for any of my leagues unless I bring my computer to work and hook up there, which is not ideal. I am verging on having to retire from all my leagues unless I figure this out.

Can I assume that support for this version is no longer?

We're all pretty busy with the new version right now, no doubt.

Downloading problems are server or connectivity issues. From the sound of your issues, it revolves around your internet connection. Other than speaking with your service provider, I wouldn't know what to suggest.
