Why does it take forever to upload a file?

Love this game, but the time it takes to upload a new file is absurd. I'm talking nearly 10-15 minutes? Is there something I can do to make this process faster? I have a fairly new computer, 2.0GHZ with a ton of memory and just not understanding why this takes so long. Very frustrating!

Can you please explain exactly what you are trying to upload? Are you the commissioner of an online league?

I mean when I upload a new file. I'm not a commissioner, but one of the league GM's. When I go into the game and then click on "check for updated file", it takes forever for the new file to upload?

You're downloading this file not uploading. It is dependent on your connection to the internet and the general speed/RAM of your computer. In my experience downloading, replacing and inflating the file is a little slower than one would expect but not way out of line. It is possible that your commish has a bigger file than other leagues. That could account for the apparent slowness. Ask the commish/other owners via your OL Forums.

But probably not exactly the same, since you are on Windows.
