Teams still signing and releasing with 9.2.13

Re-posting this here...

I've read about this happening with online leagues due to an import issue, but this is my solo league and I'm not doing anything like that....but teams are drafting players and releasing them the same day.

I thought it might be because their minor league teams were full, but their minor league team has one player on it and has room for 34 more.

Also, I recently saw that this isn't just happening with drafts. Teams are signing players and then releasing them the same day. However, it only seems to be happening with minor league deals.

Another strange thing that's happening is that this is only happening to about four of my fourteen teams.

One other thing to note is that my free agent list is dangerously low because I expanded from six to fourteen teams in one year. So right now, I have two players that are free agents.

Could the league possibly be releasing them so their are free agents available?

Thanks for any insight or help you can give.

Okay, just doing some testing to try and figure out what's going on here.

The entire off-season, things were relatively okay. All teams had pretty fill minor leagues.

But then, the day the season started, some of the teams RELEASED all of the players with minor league contracts instead of DEMOTING them like the other teams did.

A closer look reveals it's just one team doing this.

Man...this is beyond weird. Five days later, they sign approximately 20 guys to play for the minor league team.

Update:

Draft works as intended. Last year all players drafted were released. This year, all of them stay on the minor league team.

Update #2:

When I move to Spring Training, EVERY team starts to do this. They call up all their players to the big league team for ST, they sign 4 or 5 guys and release them the same day.

One guy I'm looking at, who was taken in this first round of last years draft and is still a good player, has been signed and released six times between five teams over two days.

Update #3: Issue seems to have worked itself out. Oh well.
