Historical Database Path Problem

I've tried a couple times now to create a new historical league, first using the Gambo2009 database, then the database that comes with OOTP. In both cases, the league and players would load fine during the league creation. However, upon creation, I get an error message saying that the game cannot find the database. I went into the league options, and the path seems to be correct. On my Mac it looks like this... Volumes/HD/games/Out of the Park Baseball 9/data/stats/ or ...data/database/GamboDB2009/ depending on which database I try. What am I doing wrong? Historical leagues were never a problem before I moved the game to a different HD, but the path shows the new HD, not the old one, so I'm not sure if that was the cause of the problem.

Could you expand upon this, please?

well, in the league options, the path looks to be correct. It isn't trying to get the db from the old HD. I was just trying to answer that before it came up. That's the most frustrating thing; the path looks correct, but draftees won't import.

No, sorry that I wasn't clearer. I'd like more detail about the switching hard drives part. What exactly did you do in that process?

well, the first hard drive was failing, so I copied all my files (including ootp) to a second hd. I had to use my second license to reactivate the game, but other than that things seemed to be working fine. Until I realized that historical leagues just wouldn't function properly. It was just a simple moving of files. The OOTP folder was moved in a single chunk. If another folder that ootp draws from exists elsewhere, that could potentially be the problem, I guess.

Yeah, that might be the case. I don't have a Mac and I know that they work differently, but could you "reinstall" the game to the new hard drive? That might fix your troubles.
