Unable to Load Game

In trying to load the league, I received the following error:

DATABASE: load_database-could not load players file

Error! The loading of the database failed. It is either corrupt or a save-game from an old version.

I'm in two leagues and my other one loads fine.

This same thing has happened the last two seasons, usually around the 3/4 point. Each time I've deleted the league file and did a new download. Does anyone know what could be causing this?
