Here's a background of my problems. I had just came back down 3-1, and won 3 games in a row to win my leagues championship. After this happened I saved the game. When I was looking at the roster of the other team I'd be playing, the program started not responding. My computer gave me a message that I was low on space on my startup disc and programs would not work until I freed up space. I had to do a force quit on OOTP9, and other programs I was using.
After I freed up space on the startup disc the other programs that stopped responding were working again, but when I started up OOTP9 and went to continue game I get this error: "DATABASE::load_database - could not load world file" When I click ok I get this second error: "The loading of the database failed. It is either corrupt or a save-game from an old version." Is there anyway to pick up from my last save? Please help, I really do not want to lose it! |

It sounds like the game was force quit while saving and that will unfortunately mess up your game files. Unless you created a backup of your league at some point, I believe that you are out of luck. I'm sorry to have to give you the bad news.
![]() It sounds as if you ran out of memory on your computer, so I would suggest not running quite so many programs simultaneously in the future. |
