Player not showing up on side leader board

I have a player who I signed as a free agent during the off season. He had never been a regular until he signed with me. He leads the AL in HRs and is tied for the MLB HR lead but is not listed on the side bar when looking at the standings or the news page. My player has 7 HR and the leader board's players have 7,6,and 5. I was just curious why he is listed in the league leader page but not on the side bar?

Does your guy have enough At Bats to qualify for the batting title?

I'm guessing maybe the side bar only lists players that qualify?

He has 40 hits in 115 at bats through 46 team games, so i guess if you need 3.2 ABs per team game that would be the reason. Thanks.

In MLB you need 3.1 plate appearances for every team game. So your catcher would need 143 plate appearances.
