OOTP 8 Problem
A friend of mine recently gave me his code so I could download OOTP 8 so that I could start a league.

I installed OOTP 8 but whenever I click on the short to launch the game nothing happens.

I honestly have no idea what is going on and was wondering if anyone can lead me in the right direction.

Are you using Vista? If so, run it as administrator.

Don't. When I first installed OOTP on a Vista machine, I had to come here and ask the same thing to get it to work.

I hope your friend unlicensed the game on his computer(s) before he gave you the license code!

Sometimes the license records in our database will be blocked, especially with OOT8 - better email me the order ID, I'll have a look and make sure everything is okay. My email is andreas@ootpdevelopments.com.
