Something I've never encountered before (OOTP 6.5)
Been a loyal fan of OOTP 6.5 since the day it came out and this problem has me scratching my head.
In an on-line league, I have been trying to update the file that our commissioner has put up. The files in the update are legit and everything. I go to open in OOTP, and the file isn't updated. I've tried everything from clearing my cache, deleting the file and starting fresh, uninstalling the game. I then discovered that the league appears when there is no file for the league. Just stays there. That's the best I can explain it. Any ideas?

You happening to be using Vista? If you are then I think I know the problem and I recently posted a fix for someone else. I'll find it if you can't.
Are you saying that if there's no .lg folder on your computer, the option to start the game will still be available from OOTP's load screen? Yeah, it just keeps a memory of what lg it last loaded. It doesn't check to see if it's still there. It can cause problems if you then try to load the .lg. |

Yes I am using Vista. But this is the only league that's doing this. Other leagues are just fine.

I forget, but this problem might only happen with individual leagues. Read this thread and see if you can't use something in it to fix the problem.
If you can't, I'd recommend asking for help at the new tech support site (link in my sig). Be sure to point out that you're using 6.5, Vista, and tried what was in my link. |
